A major winter storm moved across southern Indiana and central Kentucky overnight Dec. 15-16. This storm produced a mixture of snow, sleet, freezing rain and plain rain across the region. Below are maps of snow depth and ice accumulation as of 8 am Thursday, Dec. 16. The snow depth map is the total snow on the ground, which includes any snow that was already on the ground prior to this storm. The ice thickness map is the total ice accumulation for this storm only.
